Industry experts note that liberalization has increased competitiveness in Nigeria’s downstream oil sector. Chinedu Ukadike, the spokesperson for IPMAN, said marketers can now better compete with NNPCL. However, he criticized NNPCL’s ongoing dominance and highlighted unresolved issues with the Port Harcourt, Warri, and Kaduna refinery rehabilitations.
